Unfortunately the SIM card is already and properly inserted because Im able to connet to UMTS network. but when I extracted and setup.exe and I picked from %temp% msi for setup64Win7.exe file and installed that msi it worked. Home Lenovo Notebooks ThinkPad T400 . Upon installing the package, there is a temp file written in the local directories for an .msi file called Mobile Broadband Drivers. I will soon test the validity of my arguments; with the IBM package I got the card recognized but not the external SIM. I have try to installed the Driver you wrote above but i have a Problem. ..
Remove Thinkvantage Access Connections ( on un installation I select remove all profiles / settings etc ) Reboot Re install all the above and reboot again and its still the same, I get a bunch of radio buttons and only the wireless radio button is enabled and I can create profiles but it doesnt allow me to connect using the sim card reader ie 3G , Edge etc I have ensured all language profiles / preferences are correct , any suggestions / ideas ? The ThinkAccess Connections software actually stuffs a lot of mobile isp's if you are using a 3g modem. I dont know why. Remove hot key .
